Change WiFi password

If your modem is only broadcasting one network, then it will only have one password. If you have 2 networks broadcasting, then you may have the option to have 2 different passwords. To change the Wi-Fi password, you can do so in the app by clicking Wi-Fi, then Wi-Fi details. You can review this article for steps. View and change your Wi-Fi network name and password in the Xfinity app. Also, Xfinity Wi-Fi Home Hotspot is available on eligible Xfinity wireless gateways nationwide. This creates an extension of the Xfinity Wi-Fi network right in a customer's home that any Xfinity Internet subscriber can use to sign in and connect. By allowing guests to use this separate network, our customers won't need to provide their private home network Wi-Fi password to guests or visitors in their homes who are Xfinity Internet subscribers.
