Can't remove devices from Xfinity WiFi Hotspot Connected Devices list

I am unable to remove devices from the Xfinity WiFi Hotspot Connected Devices page at this link: https://customer.xfinity.com/#/settings/security/hotspot-devices

When I click on remove it then shows a green checkmark and "Your device has been removed successfully." at the top of the page, but the device is still on the list.

Renaming the devices also doesn't work, but that's much less of a concern.

Hello @user_942568 I apologize for the inconvenience that you've encountered with removing a connected device from your wifi list. When you sign in through the My Account app, are these the steps that you are following, and if so, are you able to refresh the screen to see if the device has deleted?

  1. Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
  2. On the Overview screen, scroll down to the device you want to remove.
  3. Tap the three dots next to the device.
  4. On the Device Settings screen, tap Delete Device.
  5. In the confirmation box, tap Yes.

I'm trying to delete them from the Xfinity WiFi Hotspot Connected Devices page at this link: https://customer.xfinity.com/#/settings/security/hotspot-devices - most of those devices are not connected to our WiFi currently.

I have used the app to manage devices connected to our WiFi network previously without issue.

Hi there, @user_942568 I'm very sorry for the trouble you are having trying to remove devices from the Xfinity WiFi Hotspot Connected page. Have you tried using a different browser such as Chrome Incognito and have you cleared your cache and cookies on the device you are using to log in with?

Yes. It hasn't made any difference.

I appreciate you trying! Are you using the browser on a mobile device or on a desktop/laptop to access this page?

I no longer work for Comcast.

I have used Chrome on both my phone and desktop computer and the exact same thing happens.

@user_942568 you can remove any device from the Devices Not Connected list by tapping on the device, tapping Device Details, then Forget Device. This will remove the device from your devices list and unassign it from the person it was associated with, if applicable.

I no longer work for Comcast.
