Can't change plan online
Am seeing tons of other people with the same problem. It seems clear this is some sort of predatory marketing bs. Have been trying for a while to look at available plans online. Won't show me them. But if I sign out and act like a new customer magically I can see plans. This sounds like something you'll end up getting sued for. Suggest fixing before that happens.

If you have an older grandfathered service package, it's not compatible with our new packages, so you won't see options to make changes online. Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your name and address and I'll be happy to help!
