Cannot sign into xfinity account and look into account details. New customer.

I just signed up and placed an xfinity home internet order and received order confirmation. But I'm not able to sign in on the web. I'm signed out immediately and never be able to look into my account details, or check payment options or bills. I'm not even able to open chat box because it ask me to sign in first and I'm never able to sign in. On the app it says "Access not Authorized. You signed in successfully, but you must be an xfinity user to enjoy this service". I've updated my browser, cleared my cache, and tried an incognito window. Please help to resolve this issue, thanks

Thanks for reaching out to us,  we do apologize for any inconvenience.  Did you make sure you created your xfinity ID when you set up your services as your order confirmation email should have had a link for you to create your Xfinity user ID  That will have you set up the two step authentication with your cell number and e-mail address.

 

also have you downloaded the Xfinity app to see if that gives you access to your online account yet?

I have definitely created an xfinity ID and have chatted with customer service over phone, I have my phone number, email address verified and I also know my account number. But the web just does not allow me to sign in. I tried on app and it says "Access not Authorized. You signed in successfully, but you must be an xfinity user to enjoy this service".

Once you're create your Xfinity ID you get an e-mail sent to you to link your e-mail address to your account, have you went into your e-mail and clicked on that link to Verify your e-mail address so you can gain full access?

 

 

Can you clarify if you've downloaded the Xfinity app and see if you can log into your account that way?

Hi, I have clicked the link in my email to verify it, and everything looks ok. But everytime I tried to sign in on web browser (cookies have all been cleaned), it just signed me out immediately and I'm never able to look into my account details. If I click on 'Payment' on my dashboard, it keeps saying "ERROR, Sorry, this isn’t working right now,Please return to My Account Overview while we resolve the issue." And if I click on "manage plan", I'm signed out immediately and the webpage stuck there.

I've downloaded Xfinity app on my phone and tried to log in, it says "Access not Authorized. You signed in successfully, but you must be an xfinity user to enjoy this service". after I typed my username and password.

I remember when I placed the order, I tried it twice and the first time I didn't finish, not sure whether I created a blank profile and some issue occurred when I finished placing the order at the second time.

Sounds like you haven't finalized adding your e-mail address and your phone number

 

can you go to that link again and re verify your email address

Hi, I have verified my e-mail address and phone number, the customer service over phone has also confirmed that.
