@user_8bto98 Good afternoon! Thank you for reaching out to our Community Forums Team for assistance with your online account reset. I can see the importance of getting this updated as quickly as possible. It's ideal if you can be connected to your network, and makes things a bit more seamless. Here are the instructions for resetting your password. Please let me know if these work for you.

When traveling on a cruise ship I am unable to get any of my comcast emails. Xfinity blocks my user and password because they don't trust the cruise ship ipn. This is unworkable for me. I have 8 email accounts and all of my ATT &T accounts work just fine. Its only the comcast that is having a security issue. When I am at home this computer with the exact same passwords works just fine (because they trust my wi-fi modem). Its only on the road that xfinity BLOCKS all of my accounts. They want new passwords set and then new passwords again, and hours and hours of talking to someone (who barely speaks english) in the Philippines and doesn't have a clue how to fix the problem - just assumes its the customers fault or maybe the customer is a criminal? They are using constant AI and they shouldn't be in business if they can't fix their problems. The justice dept should have a look for Antitrust monopoly. That would fix everything. Break them up and take away internet.
Xfinity expert - what is the solution?

here is the problem - xfinity does not trust your wi-fi provider. So there is nothing wrong with your user name or password. And when you get to a stable wi-fi provider (like att&t cell phone, your home wi-fi, or any extra large biz) you will be able to send and receive mail. If you change your password you are just chasing your tail. It will loop and you will be constantly being asked to change your password. Just saying - been there.
