Cannot reset password on Primary User account

I am unable to reset my password on my primary user account (which of course is a different email address than the one associated with this post). The reset page on the web just resets itself over and over and loops. Customer service on the phone also just loops and refers me the the web page that loops. And the chat agents do not understand the problem and tell me to clean the cache and history. Nothing Xfinity is doing is resolving this problem. In the meantime, prices are being increased and I cannot see the email in my Primary User account. If I could actually talk to a human being on the phone, perhaps that would help. If I am unable to get this resolved in the next few days, I will be looking for a new internet carrier.

@user_k0vf4x - Hi there. It's important to us that you're able to access your emails and reset your password, we can help! Can you clarify the steps you're taking, and what are happening when you're trying to reset your password? For example, are you trying to reset it using your Email, mobile number, or username? The password recovery options include text or email to the contact methods on file for the profile. Have you tried using both methods?

Are you sure you're logging in [or trying to log in] to your primary account?

To find your Primary user ID, use the Lookup Tool: https://idm.xfinity.com/myaccount/lookup
 
Just enter the requested information and you will see a listing of all the user ID's on your account, one of which will be the Primary ID.
