Cancelled services but still have an upcoming bill

I spoke to a representative on March 31st and cancelled our services as of April 1st (24 hours later).  When I now check online, it states we still have upcoming charges (normal amount) for service dates Apr 19 - May 18.  If we cancelled two weeks ago, how can we have upcoming charges?
