Cancelled and unlinked account still appearing in app

I canceled an account and it still appears in the app. I found an answer on this form about linking and unlinking accounts and I went to that page and the account is already unlinked but it still appears. The app still asks me if I want to choose it as the account I want to log into. If it's canceled and unlinked why is it still appearing and how do I get rid of it?
