Cancellation Status - No Confirmation Email
No confirmation email of service cancellation
Am I supposed to receive a confirmation email of service cancellation?
I received a call after initiating cancellation by chat and the call center representative supposedly processed my cancellation request.
The rep provided me with a cancellation number and said they processed my order but I did not receive any written confirmation. I would like this in addition to the cancellation number I received.
Any help on how to get this is much appreciated. I see plenty of similar questions and all had support contact them and ask for a DM. Would appreciate that too.

Thanks for reaching out to us here in the community forums @user_lpmp6l! I completely understand wanting an email confirmation that your services have been disconnected.
You should receive a confirmation email once everything is fully processed. However, the primary email address on the account may be different from your preferred email address. Once the account is fully disconnected and all rental equipment is returned (if applicable), a final bill will be generated by your next regular billing date.
Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
