Cancellation email

This morning I received a cancellation email from xfinity although I never requested my service to be cancelled.

Good afternoon, user_hp9g1w! Thanks for letting us know that you saw that notice come through! We are glad you are wanting to continue your service with us. I see this happen when a customer sets up new service online at your address. We have a team that tries to reach out by phone a few times and the order is set for a month out so we have time to get in touch with you before anything happens to your service.

Please send us a direct message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the direct messaging icon located at the top right of this forums page.

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send your message
