Additional user account missing

I've had an additional user id on my account for almost 20 years.  I noticed my account stopped receiving emails on Tuesday, so I tried to sign into the account on the Xfinity website and was told I needed to call Xfinity to get a reset code for resetting my password.  When I called the agent told me there was no additional users associated with my account.  I need assistance in figuring this out so I can reset my password and be able to access my emails again.

Hello user_9clo9e , Thanks for reaching us here on Xfinity Forums. I would be happy to check into your account and see what user IDs we have listed and help with the password reset. To do so please send a direct message with your full name and address, and we can take a look. 

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support: 
Click "Sign In" if necessary 
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging 
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon 
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there 
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list 
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line 
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window 
Press Enter to send it.
