Adding Spouse as Joint Account Holder / Survivorship Planning

I’m the primary account holder for our household’s Xfinity Internet, TV, and Mobile services. I’m proactively reviewing our household accounts to ensure my wife can independently manage our services if I become incapacitated or pass away. My wife is already listed as a Manager on our Xfinity account, her mobile line is assigned to her profile, and she has her own Xfinity ID.

I’d like to clarify a few things:

  1. Does Xfinity allow a spouse to be added as a joint account owner or co-primary account holder?
  2. If not, is Manager the highest level of authorization available without transferring primary ownership?
  3. If I pass away, would my wife’s Manager access remain active until the account is formally transferred into her name?
  4. Can our Internet, TV, and Mobile services be transferred to her without service interruptions, changes to existing plans or pricing, or loss of our mobile numbers?
  5. Are there any additional steps or documentation we can complete now to simplify a future ownership transfer?

I’d appreciate the opportunity to discuss these questions privately with an Xfinity representative and receive clarification on the available options.

Thank you!

Hello there, having your wife as an authorized user would be the best way to have access to your account. If something unfortunately like you passing a way did occur, a power of attorney will be more than enough to have that service switched over to her name. Does this help with your question?
