Account Role - Manager

I am the primary user of my Xfinity account and my account has been set to a manager role. I have no idea why and even raised a ticket about it, but have received no traction whatsoever.

Can someone help me with this?

Hey there, the primary user role cannot be changed so if you have an account that is a manager that would mean you have multiple profiles on your account. Happy to see what we can find for you. Please send a DM to XFINITY SUPPORT with your name and address.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message" icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message

@XfinityAnthonyT​  Hi there! I'm in the same boat. 

But following your instructions, I don't see any little Direct Message icon in the upper right - only the little thought bubble with 2 dots, signifying the Xfinity Assistant.

Maybe this has changed in the 5 months since pscoe2 asked about it.

I'm also the only user on my account, yet my permission is set to Manager. I can't do much of anything regarding my account with that permission. 

Can you tell me another way to get a Direct Message to Support without going through all of the Xfi Assistant hoops?

Hey, @KelliABQ. Have you tried locating the primary user ID? The best way to do this would be by visiting our Xfinity ID lookup tool. Let me know if this helps.
