Hello, @user_hg2571 thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. That is a great question regarding account access, and would like to investigate further. From experience this is the most common thing I find when assisting others with similar account concerns.

If someone is set up as a manager on the account, they would have full access like the primary/account holder would have. This now includes full account capabilities of Xfinity Mobile as well. I found this article that has more information on user roles and permissions for each: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/primary-and-secondary-accounts [Edited: corrected article URL]

  • Managers can manage most account functions, like adding, removing, and porting Xfinity Mobile lines, billing, troubleshooting, and device changes. They cannot buy new Xfinity Mobile service.

After this, I am now not available for the upgrade your phone that I actually originally was

@user_hg2571 Oh wow, they should not have been able to make any changes. Report this to our Comcast Security Assurance team. You can report when your information is used by Comcast without authorization here https://spa.xfinity.com/contact-us. Doing so will help ensure it doesn't happen again.
