Tigger event (turn on lights) when camera detects motion

How can I set Xfinity Home up to turn on lights when a camera detects motion?

@peter011, awesome question! If you go into the "Automation" section, you can see there that you can set up anything in regards to your lights, assuming that they are capable of linking with the Xfinity Home system. We use Phillips Hue here, and my best suggestion would be to go under that and set it all up for you. If you have any additional questions, feel free to send me a DM as well!

To send a direct message you may need to:

Click "Sign In"

Click the "direct message" icon

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

I don't believe that you can have the camera turn on or off a light.  Only the motion detectors can turn on lights.  I have been asking for this option for several years now since the cameras came out with the ability to detect motion.
