ecobee integration w/ Xfinity window & door sensors?
Are there any plans for a deeper integration with the ecobee thermostat? Currently I am able to switch the ecobee thermostat to “Away” mode when arming my the security system, but I would also like the ability to turn off my thermostat when certain doors or windows remain open. I realize that ecobee sells their own sensors for this purpose, but I don’t want to have another sensor on my door, not to mention the additional expense.

@anjm Hi there, thank you for taking the time to reach out to Xfinity Community Forum. I understand you would like to set up your Ecobee sensors to automatically turn off heat/air when doors and windows are open. As amazing as that sounds, I am not sure if it is something being offered. Here is a link that will take you to the Ecobee website where you can click on your equipment and get all the information available on it https://comca.st/3wVnjAz. All their equipment and how it works will solely be managed by Ecobee themselves.
Can I ask where you manage the equipment? Is it inside the Xfinity Home app?
