Camera notifications
I recently signed up for Xfinity Home and got the cameras as well. However, I do not see Home show up in the Xfinity app as I use my own modem. This prevents me from getting notifications for Camera motion. I wish I was told about this before I signed up for this.
What is the timeline for this to be fixed? I need to figure out if I should cancel the whole package.

Welcome to our community forum, @user_b2adc3! I'm so glad to hear that you signed up for our amazing Xfinity Home service and want to make sure you're able to take advantage of all the features! We are working on a solution to allow customer owned modems access to cameras through the Xfinity app. Until then, you can access live camera feeds and motion events through the Xfinity Home app and if you have our X1 platform, you can access your feeds by saying "Xfinity Home Cameras" into the voice remote.

Hi,
It is extremely frustrating and disappointing that this feature has not been included yet. We were told 10 months ago that it was being worked on, and there is still no ETA. We also have Xfinity Home, and our own modem and wireless router. Today, we missed a person sitting on our porch, literally doing drugs, for one hour, because our xFinity security system can not alert us if there is motion detected, because we have our own modem. If that feature had been implemented, we would have been alerted right away, and dealt with the situation. The cameras are close to useless without that feature. To @user_b2adc3 - I recommend you switch services and don't make the mistake we did. Maybe if that happens, xFinity will get serious about giving the same features to those of us with our own modem than those that use the gateway. We are extremely frustrated, upset, and frankly, scared, right now.
