XFINITY Wifi Profile -- Samsung A53 5G
When I used my Xiaomi Poco X3 without any mobile network provider, the Hotspots app worked perfectly and would connect the phone to secure XFINITY hotspots.
After joining Xfinity Mobile my new A53 phone will try, without the Hotspots app, to connect to "XFINITY" access point but it will fail and then it will try connecting to the insecure "xfinitywifi" access point.
Perhaps this could be fixed in the next Android 13 release ?

Sorry I forgot to update this. After installing the Xfinity Mobile app, and uninstalling these packages, the problem went away.

Hi @galbi, and thanks for reaching out to us at Xfinity!
Sorry to hear you are having issues connecting to wifi on your Samsung A53. We'd be happy to help with any wifi issues you are having.
Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and address? Our team can further investigate this issue. To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

@galbi , nice diagnosis! Thanks for sharing. I wonder which of those apps you removed were causing the issue? But glad you solved it.
