Xfinity tier 2 or 3 support for activation
I have been trying to activate my new iphone, after a 1 hour call and 2 hours of chat today, again there is no progress. Earlier the blame was on Freedom Pop which I understand is really slow but I gave a new AT&T number to transfer. All I hear is that there are some errors, what errors on whose side, no one tells me. There is no reference number given to me. Today I was promised Tier2 will get back to me on email and predictably no one did.

Customer service has been a hit/miss proposition since XM went live. I suggest you just keep calling until you are connected to someone who knows what they are doing. The "chat" option is the lowest level of competency. Call them and ask to speak with a supervisor. Yep, they will say "it's a long wait" but "wait" you must do. Unfortunately, the supervisor may or may not be able to help you. Terrible service. BUT, once you get activated/up and running, XM is great !

agreed, they are so grossly understaffed both in quality and quantity terms. Filing a BBB complaint helped.
