Xfinity tells me I’m eligible for device upgrades yet don’t honor them
My account says the I’m eligible for device upgrade yet I keep getting conflicting information and told I have to pay in full and it’s so infuriating. Now I’m really upset because I’ve been an Xfinity customer since 2017 and a mobile customer since 2021 and I have two mobile lines and both devices plus my Apple Watch are all paid for. I have multiple services with this company. They have given me the same run around and that’s IF I GET TO SPEAK TO AN ACTUAL AGENT. By the looks of this, there are many other’s experiencing this problem also. I thought maybe there was a computer error or something as well but now I have confirmation that this is intentional and they are well aware of this.. It’s nearly impossible to speak to ANYONE who isn’t a bot nowadays or only available to text. I encounter errors when I ask why their information is conflicting and how to do i speak to a supervisor via by phone or text. The few times I have gotten an actual person on the phone, they are “limited to account user’s information” and in store they are useless. They have no solution or knowledge of why I this is. They’re rude in the store and EVERY SINGLE BOT, 24 hr CHAT AGENT OR IN PERSON AGENT tells me I have to pay in full. Nothing else. And then have the audacity to act like I’m bothering them while they’re NOT DOING THEIR JOB. And I’m very nice when it comes to conducting business but I’ve had enough with them. Oh and I was told I’d have a promotional opportunity of $400 off of a new device if I upgraded from unlimited to their new premium unlimited. (This was a lil while back) They never honored that either. My account is in good standing and I have a great credit score also. Nothing frozen or anything. I’m leaving this forum right now and going to shop for ALL of my services elsewhere. Shame on you Xfinity for taking advantage of loyal customers who work hard for their money while y’all are over their over charging for subpar service and then not honoring your own promotions and then lying to us about it.
