Xfinity Mobile Unlimited Plan pricing
Hi, I have 5 lines and love Xfinity Mobile! I do, however, find the Xfinity Unlimited pricing described on https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/learn/plan/details?INTCMP=ILC:plan_unl to be inconsistent with my experience in my account. If I assign 1 line to the Unlimited Intro, with my other 4 in 10GB by the gig, the 1 unlimited line is charged at $20. This is great and is consistent with the pricing on the Xfinity webpage. If I assign a 2nd line of my 5 to unlimited intro, leaving 3 in by the gig, the 2nd unlimited line is charged at $30 which is not consistent with what the pricing webpage says. If I move each of the other 3 lines to unlimited intro they too are each charged at $30 making the total price for unlimited intro for 5 lines $140 per month. The table on the pricing page indicates that the pricing of unlimited lines is based on the number of lines on the account. With 5 or more lines on the account the rate is $20 per line which means that if I placed each of the 5 lines on unlimited intro the total should be $100 instead of the $140 I see in my account with that configuration. If you consider the example of 2 unlimited intro lines on an account, they will each cost $30, not $45 for line 1 and $30 for line 2 as shown in the pricing table. In the table titled Unlimited per month per line, the pricing table column 1 says “Lines on Account” which means for 1 line the price for unlimited intro is $45, for 2 lines the unlimited intro is $30 each line, for 3 lines the price is $30 each line, for 4 lines the price is $30 per line, for 5-10 lines the price is $20 per line on the account. To make the webpage consistent with my experience the title of that first column in the unlimited pricing table should be “Line” and the price for Line 1 should have a note that it will be $30 if the account has 2 or more lines or $45 if the account only has 1 line. Thanks for your consideration. I understand how the pricing is actually calculated but again the way the pricing is currently advertised does not match how the pricing works within my account due to the way it is described in the pricing table for Unlimited.

You are correct! XM could have done a lot better here, and in other places. Just a few word changes or explanations on additional discounts on our 5th through 10th devices.

Unfortunately you are not reading the terms correctly. Starting with the 5th line it clearly shows that if it is for intro unlimited they will be +$20 each. None of the charts show that the pricing for lines 1-4 are reduced when you have more than 4 lines, only the unlimited price for the 5th and more lines are reduced. Wishful thinking.

Thanks for your response but I don’t think you understand how to read a table. “Lines on account” is the title of the first column. Rate shown next to each number in the column is the rate for all lines on the account if the account has that many lines.
it is not wishful thinking. I am simply pointing out that the language used in the table is not correct for the way the lines are charged and suggesting a change that makes the table accurate.
if you consider an account with 2 lines. 2 unlimited lines are both charged at $30 per other Xfinity pages (https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/)and not at $45 for line 1 and $30 for line 2. Xfinity’s own example for 2 lines on the page with the table of pricing for unlimited and by the gig lines proves my point. Wishful thinking is on your part.
I am not asking to pay less. I am saying the table is written incorrectly.
