Xfinity mobile plan for a year free was a scam and lie

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding an unauthorized charge for Xfinity Mobile Unlimited service on my account. On Oct 4, I switch my Internet service to a new plan and there was a promotion in green on the website saying that

"Get a line of Xfinity Mobile Unlimited included for 1 year." I comfirmed the promotion with the Live Advisor named Alex and he helped me add a new line that as he said would be free for a year, and after 1 year would be $40.

However, after the first month, I have been received a bill for $75.11 for this service, despite the promotional offer.

i posted last week about the same issue.  i cannot recall the exact number of official responses I received from  Xfinity after submitting requested information to Xfinity via direct message protocol. I estimate the number of official Xfinity responses to be somewhere between ZERO and NONE. Maybe I'm being harsh - a more accurate estimate would be between NIL and NONE. or maybe between Zero and Less Than One. Or maybe the number is actually  between none whatsoever and not even one. Thank you, Xfinity, for showing the expected lack of concern for your customers. Your multiplicity of duplicity with lack of honesty is not going unnoticed by thousands of your customers. This reminds me (on a smaller scale) of the Wells Fargo banking scandal about ten years ago. And it reminds me more recently of TMobile's outright lie about price lock. Ironically, the reason I switched from TMobile to Xfinity was due to the lies perpetuated by TMobile regarding price lock and auto-pay discount. Xfinity has exceeded my expectations of corporate greed, lies, treachery and contempt for customers.

Thanks for posting the truth about this scam, everybody. I was going to sign up for Xfinity's "free" phone service, but I won't now! And I agree with the individual who mentioned a class action lawsuit. These corporations need to be held accountable for their actions.
