Xfinity mobile is very susceptible to sim card swap fraud

Long story short, we have 3 phones on the account. The primary got sim card swapped, all information stolen, bank accounts etc. Customer service took 5 hours on the phone before they could even understand what happened. Did not even know what sim card swap fraud was. We had to just ask them to activate our sim card again to start getting messages again to regain control of bank account. We're told it was extra protected now. 3 weeks later it happened again to the same phone, same with customer service wasn't understanding what happened. Charged us to reactivate our SIM again. Next day it happened to a separate phone on the same plan. Luckily only a $100 was stolen. Xfinity offered absolutely no reimbursement or even an apology. Needless to say we are switching away from XFINITY MOBILE AND INTERNET. Worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. BEWARE

It's only activated if you actually go into your account and activate it... and it happens at all cellular companies, not just Xfinity. I'm not sticking up for them... I've been through my own nightmare with them this past week. But SIM swapping is becoming common for all of them. Make sure you turn on number lock in your account.
