Xfinity Mobile Information That Might Help Someone

I have had Xfinity Mobile for years. We have 3 lines, 2 are shared lines for 3G of data for me and wife for $30 and 1 line of unlimited at $45 for daughter..  About a year ago there was a plan that with 2 or more lines Unlimited Date was only $30 a line. I thought that to get this all 3 lines have to be unlimited which would put me at $90 total and I really don't need Unlimited on the other 2 lines. So for a year with 3 lines I am paying $30 for the shared and $45 for the unlimited line.  So I am looking at an example on my Mobile app and I realize since I have 3 lines the one line on Unlimited should only cost me $30 instead of $45 and I would have 5G service instead of 4G.

 

So basically I have been paying $15 a month extra to keep 4G service instead of paying $15 less to get 5G service. Someone at Xfinity Mobile is suppose to be changing me to the correct tier 2 plan.

Hopefully, this will help someone else save money on their bill.

Just go into the Xfinity Mobile App and select Upgrade today! That someone is You!

@DaveO3​ I have been trying to upgrade for the last 6 weeks. It keeps saying there is a pending change on my account. Wait for it to finish and try again.

I have no pending change. And the chat gives me a blank screen.

Agree, that would be the easiest but I had some questions to make sure what I was doing.
