Then why was I able to make calls from my Samsung Galaxy cell phone using the Xfinity app? It doesn't make any sense that I could do it on one phone and not the other. When a call comes in on my landline, it shows up on my iPhone and I can answer it. So I should be able to make outgoing calls as well. When I set up the iPhone, it transferred all the apps from the Galaxy to the iPhone so I assumed it had the same capabilities. Do you have an explanation for that?
OK - when I try to make a call it says "ERROR" and to call them. I think I'll do that. As I said, when I was away from home, I was able to receive and make calls on my cell phone via the Xfinity 2go app. The phone doesn't actually ring - it's more like a clicking sound. I wonder if it's an iPhone thing and not an Xfinity app problem. I'll call the 800 number and see what they have to say. Thanks anyway.
I dropped my Comcast Landline a few years back. The Voice to go for the app is setup on the Comcast side. Your experience suggests something different but I don't believe the phone side is for mobile lines. Let us know if I am wrong.

I don't believe you can. The phone portion of the connect app is for Comcast's landline version.

I am referring to the Xfinity Connect app. I believe the Xfinity 2go app was retired a few years back
