Xfinity Charging me $240 in Roaming when I replied Y for Global Pass???
Hello,
I traveled internationally for the first time with Xfinity recently. I received a text message on September 26 as I arrived to activate global pass, which I replied Y to and thought nothing more of…now I am seeing a bill of over $240?! For 5 days it should have been $50, maybe even call it $60 for the half day although I was mostly on WiFi during that period.
Xfinity phone support has hung up on me TWICE after being on hold for 8-10 minutes each time.
xfinity Chat support is just copying and pasting information from a script and being of no assistance at ALL…
how can I urgently contact someone regarding this?!
edit: And to slap me in the face harder, now I get an email saying roaming to Guatemala is free with my plan up to 10GB…a week after I return to the USA…of course. This is just disheartening. I’ll be finding a new provider, for sure. But I am NOT responsible for these insane roaming charges, it just can’t be. Clear as day I should’ve had global pass, but the OUTSOURCED support agents refuse to acknowledge that…

Good afternoon user_ij1uh6. I can certainly understand your concern. We would be happy to look into this further for you. I will need some additional information.
Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
