Xfinity 5G is a joke!

Please think twice if you plan to switch from other carriers to Xfinity. Their unlimited 5G plan is a joke! Don't waste your time and money.

I had two lines on Verizon network, on heir cheapest data plan which they call it grandfather plan. I decided to switch over to xfinity to take advantage of their promotion on iPhone 15 Pro. A mistake!

I activated one of the lines and tested their internet speed in several locations of SF East Bay Area. Terrible, terrible terrible! I couldnt have a simple Whatsapp video chat! Their 5G internet speed reminded me of dial-up era!

Note I was new to their network. That means I haven't exhausted my data allowance limit.  Their most expensive plan was a lot slower than the cheapest grandfather plan on Verizon network!

The same day, I switched it back to Verizon. I was lucky enough to get the same grandfather plan.

Please watch what their salespeople claim about the quality of their mobile internet speed; it's not true.
