Wrong caller ID name is showing on my outgoing calls
I recently ported a number from Verizon to a new xfinity mobile.. The caller ID being sent is wrong, it is not my name and apparently some type of business. This is going to cause people to not take my calls thinking it is spam. I am told that since xfinity is an MVNO with Verizon, that the caller ID name will display as "Wireless Caller". I could live with that but not with a wrong business name. I have spent many hours on the phone after finally getting a person on the line who had to escalate the matter a couple of times and assured me it was being fixed and that she would call me back. Never heard back. Still sending the wrong name! How do we fix this so the wrong caller ID is not sent on my outgoing calls! Thanks.

I am having the same issue. I switched to comcast over 2 years ago. I used to be on my mom's plan with Verizon. My caller ID was showing my name until about a few weeks ago. In my settings on my iphone, I have no way of changing my caller ID.

I am having the same problem for over 3 months. Have been in contact several times on line and 3 times I actually went to the store for help. Each time I was ultimately transferred to mobile when on line or the store contacted mobile department to handle problem. All times I was told that problem was solved and I was told change would be in effect within 30 minutes the last time. Prior attempts the time frame was anywhere from 24 hours to 5 weeks. Yesterday was my last attempt and still not corrected. I ave spent hours on the phone or sitting at the store to no avail. Sorry I have no suggestions for you. After being a customer of Comcast for almost 50 years I really think I have had it.

Here is a link that might help you correct your CNAM:

Please let us know if you are successful with this or another method? I have posted this before but did not hear back from anyone whether it is useful or not.
