Will phone bill increase if internet service is disconnected?

When I was a customer at Spectrum Internet and Mobile, they raised the price of each mobile line when I disconnected my internet service. Does XFinity also do that? Does it make a difference if I am a diamond member?

... Does XFinity also do that? ...

The "Pricing & other info" link on https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/ says "Xfinity Mobile requires residential post-pay Xfinity Internet. ... $25/mo. charge applies if Xfinity TV, Internet or Voice post-pay services not maintained".

Does it make a difference if I am a diamond member?

No.

Good evening @user_f82riu, and thank you for reaching out to our dedicated Communities team on our forums, we appreciate your time and hope you are having a wonderful weekend. Great questions and rest assured you've reached the right team to help get them answered! If you disconnect your internet service you'll see a $25 per month standalone mobile fee per account on future Xfinity Mobile bills. For more information, I have included the following link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-service-cancellation-details. We appreciate you being a Diamond Rewards member and as a Diamond Rewards number, you are eligible for a variety of monthly rewards offers for both residential and mobile service. However, we are unable to waive the $25 standalone mobile fee, unfortunately.

Does that answer your questions or do you have any follow-up questions our team can help with?

is this $25 standalone fee is per account/month or per line/month?

Great question, @mohankm1! As you'll see within this article, the $25/mo fee is per account if you're on our latest price plan when you move to an address that doesn't qualify for residential services or if you cancel those services for any reason. And the $25/mo fee is per line if you’re not on our latest plan when disconnecting those services. Please let me know if this helps! You're in the best place for support because our Digital Care Team is awesome to work with. We'll always do whatever we can to provide you with the latest information :)
