WiFi Calling Not Working
I brought my iPhone Xs Max from AT&T to Xfinity yesterday. New sim installed, Shows LTE, everything else appears to be working, but the WiFi Calling.
It’s a loop... I toggle the WiFi calling; enter emergency address, once finished, I go back to check on it and the WiFi calling has been turned/toggled off.
I have tried Reset All Settings, Reset Network Setting and Erased All Content and Settings.
None have helped.
I have called Xfinity Mobile several times, just so they can tell me "Wi-Fi Calling is on by default on your account." I am not getting anywhere with them, and the store does not have the Mobile staff on hand right now.
I really need this WiFi calling to work. Please help.

Unfortunately didn't work form me.
Got a brand new iPhone SE unlocked, signed up with xFinity and wifi-calling does not work. Reset completely and entered address EXACTLY as service address (which in my case is the same as billing address). Still turns off as everybody else described... giving up for now....

I've been battling this since swithcing to Xfinity mobile. Had ATT before, worked seamlessly on same routher and connection. iPhone Xs purchased from Xfinity when I switched. Calls drop almost every time when answered at home. I get 1 bar in my house, and it rarely switches to WiFi calling. I've tried every trick in every thread I've found and nothing works. On the latest carrier software and iOS update. Sometimes I can force it to WiFi calling by messing with the settings and resubmitting emergency address for the 100th time, but usually it doesn't work. My phone is functionally useless at home due to this. This is a problem that's been going on for YEARS and Xfinity has yet to address it properly. I'd switch back to ATT in a heartbeat if I could afford it.

Finally a solution. I only needed to turn my iPhone off to reset the address input for enabling wifi calling toggle. Put address in exactly as on my Comcast bill, get a pop-up message that you're sure you want to do this, and VIOLA, it works. My only change was Lane to LN. I spent several days with Apple and they didn't tell me to make sure the address was the same as on your Comcast bill. Xfinity should of known. Thanks.

I tried entering my previous address with Xfinity into the WiFi calling 911 page and it worked. I now have WiFi calling on my iPhone after a frustrating week trying everything else that an Xfinity tech suggested. Now I have to figure how and why this ancient address still lives in my Xfinity file, but that’s a fix for another day.

This was happening to me as well. On my previous phone I had entered the address. Changed/upgraded phones (to one bought from xfinity) And I kept getting the same loop you are. I’d turn it on. No address taken, I’d get the “contact xfinity mobile error”. When I clicked the “ok” button on the error, it would appear that WiFi calling was on but when I backed out and returned, it was off.
But then I made one change which seemed to work. I had been signed in to a generic xfinity wifi hotspot, not the one through my router. When I changed it back to “my” hotspot, it accepted the address and turned it on!

Settings
Wi-Fi
Ask to Join Networks
Notify
Setting
Wi-Fi
Auto-Join Hotspot
Automatic
Changing these 2 settings allowed me to enter my emergency address (after turning Wi-Fi Calling On) and the Wi-Calling remained on (instead of reverting back to off).

Had the same issue. Xfinity and Apple support no help Here's what fixed the issue for me (iPhone X BYOD coming from AT&T):
Under Settings, go to Wi-Fi, then under Ask to Join Networks, select Notify (other choices are Off and Ask). Then go to Cellular, xfinity mobile, make sure Wi-Fi Calling is set to On. At this point, you should be able to enter your emergency address. Once you enter and confirm, my Wi-Fi calling remained set to on (previously it reverted to Off). I think the trick (for me) was making sure the Join Networks setting under Wi-Fi was set to Notify (and not off). Since doing this my Wi-Fi calling has remained on with no issues.
BTW, thanks for nothing xFinity and Apple support.

Yesterday for the first time I got a push notification if I wanted to use WiFi calling. Again filled in the same address but THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I actually got an error msg saying that the address was unknown. Previously the window just closed and I thought it was accepted. When entering the city name (Minneapolis) instead of the suburb we live in it accepted AND I got a msg that address was ‘successfully updated’. now calling over WiFi stays on. THUS: problem was clearly that address wasn’t recognized.

Had this same problem with a friend's phone and here is how we solved the problem. VERY annoying and time consuming. I'll give the answer here and more explanation below if you want to keep reading.
SOLUTION: when you go to turn on wi-fi calling for the *first* time, you need to ensure that your emergency address EXACTLY MATCHES the address that Xfinity has on your account. I know this sounds ridiculous but we needed to go the Xfinity store in person to find out that this was the solution.
EXPLANATION IF YOU CARE: I encouraged my friend to move over to Xfinity Mobile in order to save money and improve her service; because of her physical location, whenever she is in her apartment -- a place where there is no cellular signal at all -- she absolutely relies on wi-fi calling in order to stay connected. This 'no signal' issue happens regardless of carrier.
My biggest frustration was that I was able to use *my* Xfinity Mobile device on her wi-fi for calling purposes, so it somehow pointed to her phone (iPhone XR) as the issue. After many tries at the troubleshooting described throughout this thread -- all to no avail -- I finally met her at the Xfinity store (don't try to do this with the phone-in tech support, you will literally lose years off your life) and after a couple of failed attempts to fix, they got it to work. When I asked buddy what he did, he just said "I made the emergency address exactly equal to the address on the account and that worked"; we confirmed that the wi-fi calling worked when we got back to her apartment, so I would consider this a solution.
WHY this requirement is out there, I have no idea but it appears to be some type of network-registration activity for the new device on their network. This BS about not supporting BYOD phones is total fiction; in fact, Comcast offered financial incentives ($50 per line) to switch over, which we also took advantage of.
Good luck!
