Upgrade

2 months in still can’t upgrade due to credit score at zero. First phone call given number to credit experian, second call, given number to “back office team” to update score in system. Faulty phone number. Third call gave me a number to a collection agency NOT affiliated with xfinity. Called this last time and was told it can take 4 months to confirm eligibility. Had service for 4 years, phones have been paid off for over a year. Site and app state I’m eligible, but according to store and customer service they can’t do anything. Waste of time. For a corporation like comcast this is pretty sh****. Looking for new carrier this weekend.

It is the best resource to manage the account and service online when we are not available. It is my favorite as I can check the service health, and also reboot the wifi for dinner time. That ensures the kids come to eat, and that makes me very happy. Here is a link that I found for you to make it easy to use https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/. It's not fun having to wait on adding more lines or an upgrade. Try the online steps if you see it available in your account online. I found the exact details to follow here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/how-to-upgrade-replace-device. If your phone is paid in full, you aren't eligible for an Early Upgrade, but you may purchase a new phone at any time.
