Unlock device

I need my phone unlocked... reached out to xfinity support through chat - get the same answer every time that a ticket has been created. Texted the number, no response. Been without service going on 8 days....as a mother with two small children this is completely unacceptable. My device is fully paid off, I want to keep my number...just unlock my phone!!
