Unauthorized Mobile Care Charges

@Xfinity Support

To Xfinity Mobile Support,

I am writing to formally dispute unauthorized charges on my account and to demand immediate action.

On March 30, 2026, Xfinity Mobile Care was added to two Apple Watches on my account ($15/month per watch, totaling $30/month) WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION OR CONSENT. I did not request this service, did not affirmatively agree to it, and was not informed when it was added.

Upon discovering these charges, I contacted Xfinity customer support on TWO separate occasions (6/28/2026 and 7/11/2026) and was explicitly told by representatives that Mobile Care would be removed from my account. I have documentation of these calls and the dates they occurred.

Despite these assurances, I continue to be billed for this unauthorized service. Charges remain on my current bill.
This constitutes a clear violation of FCC consumer protection regulations prohibiting negative option billing and unauthorized charges. This is not a billing error—this is a pattern of adding services without consent and failing to honor cancellation requests.

I am demanding the following by August 5, 2026:
   1.    Immediate removal of Mobile Care from BOTH Apple Watches
   2.    Full refund of all charges dating to March 2026 (retroactive to when the service was first improperly added)
   3.    Written confirmation from Xfinity that these services have been permanently removed and will not reappear

If these demands are not met within the specified timeframe, I will:
   •    File a formal complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) at consumercomplaints.fcc.gov
   •    File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau documenting this pattern of unauthorized billing
   •    Initiate a chargeback through my financial institution for all unauthorized charges
   •    Report this to my state’s Attorney General’s office for consumer fraud investigation
       •    Change to a different mobile service provider

I have maintained documentation of all charges, my account statements, and communications with your support team. I expect a written response to this email within 48 hours acknowledging receipt and outlining the steps Xfinity will take to immediately resolve this matter.

This is a formal notice of dispute per consumer billing protection regulations.
