Unable to add a new line, even though Xfinity Mobile says they have increased my limit to 8 lines

I have been trying to add a new line for a week now.  I have been to the Xfinity store twice and they have submitted a ticket to get my max number of lines increased.   They said that the number of lines were approved and increased from 5 to 8.   I am still unable to add a new line, and the person in the Xfinity store is also unable to add a new line.  It says it is at the max number of lines.   I feel like they didn't actually increase the max number of lines, but increased the max number of devices (tablets, watches) which I don't need.

Please increase the max number of phone lines so I can add a new line
