travel pass

Hi I am so grateful Travel Pass is a service that y’all have!  And you add it to people’s account so they don’t get undue surprise charges while traveling!

I did use it intentionally a few times, and it was awesome. I really appreciate it.

I was a little confused a few times.  I had planned to use it to the expiration from a prior text, e.g. 7:33 EST, but before it reached the expiration, I got an text that the Travel Pass was automatically added to my account.

I thought this meant I was getting charged, so I figured I’d just use it anyway and kept texting or made more calls.  For example I  used it before 7:33 EST, got a notification that expiration is at 7:33 EST, and then it said added Travel Pass for the next period...But I hadn’t planned on for the next period.  My plan was mostly to use an eSim and a different messaging/call app.  So I just used it because I figured I was getting charged, and didn't want to follow up  with Xfinity while traveling.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add clarification for future travelers?

Could you possibly update the text notification to clarify that the Travel Pass had been added for the next period however a charge will not added until the it is actually used in this period?  Because then I wouldn’t have used it nor had I planned on using it next period…I just figured I was getting charged anyway.  This clarification would have saved me money.

I appreciate the Travel Pass service!

Great thank you for including this feedback!  I hope it will add further clarification and be useful for fellow travelers.  Should this feedback be helpful, I'd love to be considered for a coupon or refund % to absorb some of the fees incurred due to travel pass alert ambiguity.  Thank you for considering!
