Has anyone been successful converting an iPhone 11 from a physical sim to an Esim?

Hi, @user_9ac5a1. Thank you for reaching out. I hope you are well. We are limited with access to Xfinity Mobile services and activations here on Forums. With that said, I might be able to shed some light from what I found. Based on the Xfinity Mobile site https://www.xfinity.com/mobile/support/article/how-to-activate-phone, it appears the eSIM might only be available for iPhone 13 or later.

I'll highlight the details below:

Important Things To Know Before You Begin

  • We’ll need information from your previous carrier to transfer your number.
    • Make sure you have a copy of your bill and your account PIN.
    • If you don’t know your account PIN or number transfer PIN, you’ll need to contact your carrier for assistance.
  • If your new phone is an iPhone 12 or earlier, you'll insert the nanoSIM card on your own. (nanoSIMs are pre-installed on Android phones.)
    • Pay attention to your nanoSIM cards if you're activating multiple iPhones.
    • Each card is uniquely linked with specific phones, and we'll label them for you so you insert the correct card in the correct phone.
  • If your new phone is an iPhone 13 or later, your device may be able to be activated through an electronic nanoSIM or eSIM.

Activate a New Line With eSIM

Note: Xfinity Mobile currently supports eSIM only on iPhone 13 or newer.

Let me know if that helps clear things up a bit. We do recommend reaching out to our Mobile experts to ensure your concern is resolved. You can reach them by texting or calling 1 (888) 936-4968. You can also chat with an expert here https://www.xfinity.com/xfinityassistant/?channel=xMobile Let me know if you run into any trouble reaching them directly. Thanks!
