Transferring ownership

Hello user_do9not, thank you for reaching out here in our Xfinity Community forum. This is actually a excellent question that we get more often than you might think. The form is usually available at a local Xfinity store, but you can sometimes perform the process by speaking with retention on the phone. All that said, I personally recommend your roommate start their own account. The reason being, they would, as a new customer, be eligible for any new customer offers and able to get a rate that can be for as long as 5 years. That way, you are still able to stop being billed, and they can get a rate they like as well as new equipment. Does that make sense?
