Transfer Physical SIM to eSim for an existing customer with iPhone 12 PRO

Transfer Physical SIM to eSim for an existing customer with iPhone 12 PRO - I am constantly switching sims to change to my international carrier. It would be super helpful to enable the eSim for my current connection. could you please help ? I dont see the ocnvert to eSim option though the website says that its available from iphone XS model.

Earlier today I was able to reach a customer support person who was able to transfer my SIM to an eSIM on my new iPhone SE 2022  rather than sending me a new SIM in an attempt to fix an SMS issue. He did have to get assistance from another person, so they are learning how to do it.

From my understanding is trying to switch everything over to ESIM.
