The absolute worst customer service
I contacted xfinity on 8/15 regarding pricing advertised on the Galaxy Flip 8 and the Galaxy Fold 8. I was told the advertised price ($2.77/mo for the Flip and $27.77/mo for the Fold) was only available if we upgraded our plan to the premium unlimited plan....
I was quoted $110.54/mo for the two lines to be on the premium unlimited plan, and for the flip 8 and Fold 8- pricing structure $80/mo for service, $2.77/mo flip8 and $27.77/mo fold8, I have the chat transcript....
We were upgrading our s25 ultras, still in perfect condition, but upgrading because of the excellent advertised/quoted pricing on the new phones. I waited over a week to be given shipping labels to send the s25 ultras back, and kept being told they would be emailed in 3 days...eventually got through to someone who actually sent labels for shipping the trades back, thank god I doubled checked them, the labels sent to me were not for our phones and had I just shipped them back with the wrong labels our phones would've been lost and we would've been on the hook for them as well as the new phones.
Fast forward, I have to eventually go to the store to get corrected labels and ship old devices back. Great thats done, I look and our bill shows $148.88... red flag, not the price I was quoted. I contact xfinity again on 8/27 to see why the bill is nearly $40 more a month than I was quoted. The agent I spoke with that morning told me the trade ins hadn't fully processed and to check back on 9/11 to allow time for the bill to be corrected, and that since I was quoted $110.54 that is in fact what my bill would be...
Well, I just spent 3 and a half hours fighting with agents for the resolution to be that I was lied to and conned in to upgrading, and there is nothing that can be done about it. One agent told me xfinity agents are not allowed to lie to customers, then followed up that statement with Well looks like you were lied to...
No resolution, lies on top of lies, being tricked into upgrading, the hassle and stress of the trade in process... this has been a nightmare. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB and look into other mobile options. Being passed off from one agent to the next with zero resolution is so frustrating, and frankly very bad business.
