Switched to NOW internet but kept mobile

I recently switched to NOW internet but kept my by the gig mobile plan. I was assured numerous times that I could do that with no charge but I received an email saying that since I’m not on Xfinity Internet I will be charged $25 a month for each line,in my case $50. . I’m hoping this is a mistake. If not it will force me to change mobile providers I would appreciate any clarification on this. Even the web said I could bring my mobile plan to NOW. Thanks.

Thank you for the question @Johno3. You can reach out to the NOW internet team at https://www.xfinity.com/support/now for any questions about the Mobile eligibility.

I don’t have and don’t want NOW mobile. My question is about Xfinity Mobile which I thought was in this group. Why is Xfinity mobile wanting to charge me $25 per line when I still have internet. I was told it didn’t matter if I had Xfinity Internet or NOW Internet. All I get at that link is Xfinity assistant which can’t answer my question.
