Solve this SCAM

Around April 8th I talked with someone from the mobile department through a phone call (listen to the recording if you want, I even confirmed it all with the person who talked to me) and I asked them how can I reduce my wifi bill so they told me to port sim to get ALL the benefits listed below. I was also asked to make a one-time payment of $42.18 which I DID.

I was promised the following benefits:

1. I would get a $20 discount on my wifi bill EVERY MONTH which is currently $51.41 and would bring it down to $31.41, and this would happen as soon as I activate my SIM, which did not happen.

2. A free Samsung phone which I received and the SIM is activated as you can see.

3. I would get the first 3 months free on my mobile bill, which means there should be no bill whatsoever on my mobile bill till mid-July 2023 and I was told the bill will be around $17

I have talked with your agents 7-10 times and given different answers most of the time, kept me on hold, and even dropped the call without any solution. All the calls/chats were over an hour and a half long each time.

I would say that you were scammed. Xfinity does not call users and offer them deals. PERIOD.

Even if you called Xfinity Mobile or went to a store, agents cannot offer you anything other than what is posted on the Xfinity Mobile website. PERIOD. The only thing that agents can do is suggest the various promotional options that are currently available as they must essentially use the same inputs/options that are available to users online.

Having said the above, XM is far from perfect and does mess up now and then, but it’s usually in porting, activating, trade-ins, etc., that then mess up the device credits or debit card incentives when 15, 30, or 90 day promotion requirements are not met because of XM, not the user, and then XM’s hard coded incentive gets dropped.
