Scammed by xfinity support
I got lied to. Was told in xfinity support chat that I could get a promotion that if I trade in a phone and upgrade to premium unlimited I get a new phone free.... I asked support many times if im eligible for it they said yes... I got a new phone didn't know how to trade in.... called xfinity. Man on the phone says the deal sounds "too good to be true" even though this is a very common promotion on Verizon and tmobile... he said sorry they lied to me nothing he can do. Wouldn't even escalate to let me talk to anyone above him.... he said he might be able to compensate me some way... so I waited a for a little while... he came back and said "you can get a smartwatch %50 off" he literally pretended to walk away and talk to someone when that deal is for anyone in xfinity rewards.... also I did not sign up for this a little bit before he said this i got an email that said welcome to xfinity rewards.. so he literally signed me up for it without my permission too
so im pretty upset and sad... how is xfinity okay with lying right to my face then not even escalating the issue or at least a partial refund
I was told i could refund everything resend the new phone back. But I missed work so I could get everything setup... I don't want to do that all over again.. I just want the deal I was promised :(
