Samsung S21 5G stopped receiving monthly security updates since moving from Verizon to Xfinity!

We moved 2 lines from Verizon to Xfinity in August 2023 and since then have not received either of the 2 new security updates released by Samsung. Our phones were purchased from the Samsung website and locked on Verizon until we switched. Now that the phones are unlocked it seams that we will never get any updates again. Does anyone have the REAL answer to what’s going on??????

Hi,

I have the same issue for a very long time. I have a Samsung S21+ and switched from ATT to Xfinity in February. I havent had a security update since December of 2022! But yes, it would be great if anyone knows whats going on.

@ksurber​ I chatted with an agent from Xfinity and he said that they had to do something on the backend. He said that the change would take 6-8 hrs to take affect. If it works Ill let you know.

Haven't gotten any updates. I went into an Xfinity store and they asked of I had contacted Samsung... I'm patiently waiting for One UI 6... We'll see I guess. I don't know.
