Samsung Fold 5 - esim

I just purchased my Fold 5 unlocked from Samsung directly. I am being told eSim is not supported currently for Samsung phones. Is there any ETA for this to be available.

It is frustrating to have paid such a hefty price tag for a phone where I have to give the only physical Sim slot. I was hoping to be able to have my xfinity line on esim and my work line which can't be converted to esim entered into the physical slot.

At this time eSim isn't available with Xfinity Mobile for anything other than Apple phones that are compatible. At this time we are unable to say when we may support eSim with Andriod devices.

Every telecom company in third world countries is capable to provide esim support to Samsung phone. I am unable to understand where are living?

This is incredibly annoying. I also got a Fold 5 and since eSIM tech is rather simple, it baffles me that this carrier is unable to support Android connections. Maybe Apple gave them some money to keep it that way.

Was told the same. This is so frustrating. I truly don't see why xfinity can't support esim for fold 5.
