Returned Device Damaged Fee
I made a purchase for iphone 14 pro max for my wife. But she accidentally activated the phone with a new number. And we actually want to port our existing number and get the device discount. We tried to connect and talked with the agent more than 20 times. But unfortunately, xfinity cannot activate the other number to make us get the discount. And they said we need to return the device and make another purchase.
We sent the phone back right away. After 10 business days, it is saying that the returned device is broken and we will be charged for the full device price. I can assure that the phone was in a mint condition and I really doubt for the 1 day use of the phone, how it can be damaged. Anyway, I see lots of other posts about the lie of the damaged device. How others get it resolved?

BTW, I have contacted xfinity mobile several times. Even I cannot get the answer that how it is damaged. :)
