Restrictions on 24-month Phone Discount Credits

Phones bought with discount credits must keep the same phone number.  Because Xfinity does not support the cellular/LTE Galaxy Watch connected to my primary phone, a Samsung, I bought an Apple watch with plans to make the free iPhone SE my primary.  Xfinity informed me that doing a phone number swap between the two Xfinity lines will end my credit discount, and I’ll have to pay the balance.  I am glad that the agent told me about it and did not swap the numbers.  I will probably get a used large-screen iPhone.  Xfinity Mobile shared data plan is still the best deal for my family because none of us use a lot of data.   What other restrictions are there?

Not exactly a restriction, but with my last phone I got a debit card promo but could use that debit card and more to pay of the phone entirely without losing anything. Current offers are structured as a monthly discount over two years and is I pay of the phone, I lose the discount.

@XfinityAmandaB This is not specific to my account, but rather it applies to everyone.  Xfinity closed posts asking how sim swaps affect credits, giving the same canned response to contact customer service.  Xfinity should post the answer for everyone in the community to see.  It wastes time for customers to come back to the forum and post Xfinity's responses.  There is also the chance that we will misinterpret something.
