Replacing landline with mobile line
I have not been able to verify what the representative I was chatting with the other night had told me and I don't want to activate my new xfinity mobile line until I am. I was told if I replace my landline with an xfinity mobile line my bill would go down. When searching the forum I see that others have been promised the same thing and it never happened and in some cases they ended up with a higher bill.

Greetings, @user_y4xo27! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about replacing your landline with Xfinity Mobile. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
Under normal circumstances, the cost for adding Xfinity Mobile can be offset by removing the cost of the landline from your account, but every situation is going to be different. It mostly depends on what kind of promotions are available, and what kind of promotions you are currently receiving. If your service package includes an additional discount for having a landline, you could end up losing that discount.
If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.
To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” icon in the top-right corner of the screen, next to the bell icon, click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon, then type or select "Xfinity Support". Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.
