FORMAL BILLING DISPUTE AND REFUND REQUEST

To: Xfinity Mobile Billing Department
Subject: Formal Dispute of Billing Increases and Request for Refund

Dear Xfinity Customer Relations,

I am writing to formally dispute the significant increase in my Xfinity Mobile monthly payments beginning in July 2026.

According to my payment history, my monthly payments were approximately $73.43 before July 2026. However, beginning in July, my payments increased to approximately $113–$118 per month without a clear explanation of the additional charges.

My payment history reflects the following:

  • July 5, 2026: $113.37

  • August 5, 2026: $118.55

  • September 5, 2026: $113.55

  • October 6, 2026: $113.78

  • November 5, 2026: $113.76

Based on my previous monthly payments, the difference totals approximately $205.86.

Additionally, I noticed a separate one-time payment of $118.37 made on August 2, 2026, followed by another payment of $118.55 on August 5, 2026. I am requesting an explanation of these two transactions and confirmation of whether the August 2 payment was an additional or duplicate payment.

I am requesting that Xfinity:

  1. Conduct a complete audit of my account and billing history beginning July 2026.

  2. Provide an itemized explanation of every additional charge that caused my monthly bill to increase.

  3. Identify any unauthorized, duplicate, or incorrect charges.

  4. Refund all amounts determined to have been incorrectly or excessively charged, including the potential $118.37 duplicate payment.

  5. Explain why my monthly bill increased from approximately $73 to over $113 without a clear explanation.

Based on my calculations, I am requesting an investigation of approximately $324.23 in potential excess charges, subject to verification of the August 2 payment.

I have maintained my account and made my payments, and I expect accurate and transparent billing. I would appreciate a written response explaining the findings of this investigation and confirmation of any applicable refund.

If this matter cannot be resolved through normal customer service, I am prepared to escalate my complaint through the appropriate consumer protection channels.

Thank you for your prompt attention. I look forward to a resolution.

Sincerely,
