RCS not working on unlocked Pixel 6 that I brought over from Mint Mobile
I just ported over from Mint to Xfinity Mobile, and RCS worked fine on this device with their service. It's been stuck on "Status: Setting up..." for over 2 days now, after I ported on Sunday. Xfinity online support was no help, and I am not seeing any helpful answers anywhere else online.

Is RCS Mint's texting service? If so, you're no longer on Mint so you might need to find a different texting service that works with Xfinity Mobile.

RCS is not proprietary to Mint. It's native to android phones in general. My wife's pixel 6 is working fine with RCS on xfinity mobile, but it was initially bought and activated with them.

This happened to my Pixel 7 coming from TMobile
Go To App Info for messages and force close the app
Go to App info for Carrier Services and clear the cache
Then clear cache for your messages app
And restar the phone
