Purchased two phone one for me one for my daughter.

I chose xfinity because of I can control when the internet goes off and on. But with xfinity mobile it just connects her phone to WiFi without her having to do anything. It’s actually worst than our previous provider. How do I pause her internet or stop the phone from connecting to the WiFi.
